Shipping policy

We aim to get your MadeKind order to you as quickly and reliably as possible.

Shipping Area

We currently ship nationwide across South Africa only.

For international shipping enquiries, please contact us at hello@madekind.co.za.

Processing Time

  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays)
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day
  • During peak periods and promotional events, processing times may be slightly extended

Delivery Timeframes

  • Main centres: 2–4 business days after dispatch
  • Outlying/regional areas: 3–6 business days after dispatch

Please allow additional time for deliveries to outlying areas and during peak seasons (November–December).

Shipping Fee

A flat shipping fee of R109 applies to all orders unless otherwise stated.

Any promotional shipping offers will be clearly communicated.

Promotions & Free Shipping

From time to time, we may offer free shipping promotions.

Please note that free shipping may not apply during Black Friday or other specified promotional periods.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched:

  • You will receive a tracking number via email
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to track their parcel using the link provided

Delivery Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details at checkout
  • MadeKind cannot be held responsible for delays or failed deliveries due to incorrect information

If a parcel is returned to us due to:

  • Incorrect address
  • Failed delivery attempts

The customer will be responsible for any re-delivery costs.

Missed Deliveries

If delivery attempts are unsuccessful:

  • The courier may return the parcel to us
  • Re-dispatch will be at the customer’s expense

Risk & Ownership

Once your order has been collected by the courier, it is in their care.

While we will assist in resolving any issues, MadeKind is not liable for courier-related delays.

Lost or Delayed Parcels

If your order is delayed or appears lost:

  • Please contact us at hello@madekind.co.za
  • We will investigate the matter with the courier
  • All claims must be made within 7 days of the expected delivery date

Damaged Parcels

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Include clear photos of the parcel and contents

We will assess and arrange a replacement where applicable.
